Student Spotlight: CyberPatriot Team

Students Spotlight: CyberPatriot Team

Did you know our school has a CyberPatriot team? CyberPatriot the National Youth Cyber Education Program created by the Air Force Association (AFA) to inspire K-12 students toward careers in cybersecurity or other science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines critical to our nation's future.
At the center of CyberPatriot is the National Youth Cyber Defense Competition. The competition puts teams of high school and middle school students in the position of newly hired IT professionals tasked with managing the network of a small company. Teams compete against other schools in their region. If they are successful they will move on to compete nationally in Washington D.C.
Abby Warren is the current commander of Bolivar High School CyberPatriot. She and the teachers have done a great job preparing and training these twelve kids. They are ready to compete and help the next group that joins the club!
